When my legs were strong, I wanted to walk beneath the open sky, but I told myself, There will be another day.
When apples were fresh, I wanted to taste them, but I said, Perhaps tomorrow.
When my heart longed to see someone I loved, I remained silent, believing there would always be another chance.
I wanted to watch the sunset, feel the rain, travel to distant places, and say the words I had kept inside. But I postponed everything.
Later, later, later.
I treated tomorrow as a promise, never realizing that tomorrow was never guaranteed.
And now, here I lie, upon this bed, watching the world continue beyond my window. My heart still longs to walk, to touch, to taste, to embrace, to live—but my body no longer obeys.
Now, I understand the beauty of ordinary things. A morning breeze, a walk beneath the trees, an apple in my hand, a conversation with someone I love—things I once took for granted have become dreams I can only wish for.
So, I tell you: Live while you can.
Walk when your legs can carry you. Love while your heart can express it. Visit the people you miss. Watch the sunset. Pursue the dreams you keep postponing.
Do whatever makes you happy. Explore, create, laugh, travel, and follow the path that gives meaning to your existence. But remember, let your happiness never become another person's suffering. Do not build your joy upon someone else's tears.
Be free, but be kind. Live for yourself, but never forget the humanity of others.
Do not spend your entire life preparing to live. The perfect moment may never come, and the ordinary moments you overlook today may become the very memories you desperately wish to revisit tomorrow.
I wish I could follow my own advice. I wish I could rise from this bed, step outside, and begin again.
But now, I lie here, waiting for the final horizon of my journey.
I tell you to enjoy life.
I wish I could, but perhaps it is too late for me.
Do not let it become too late for you.
